Could Your Yamba Tank Qualify for a Council Rebate?
Clarence Valley Council lists rebates of up to $600 for qualifying rainwater-tank installations. For eligible town-water customers, its published table lists $200 for a 3,000–6,999 litre tank used outdoors, or $500 total when plumbed to a toilet or laundry. At 7,000 litres or more, the listed amounts are $300 and $600 respectively. An eligible existing tank connection may qualify for $300.
Conditions include one rebate per water connection, a minimum 3,000-litre capacity, a first-flush device and compliance with council requirements. Indoor connections require a licensed plumber. Mandatory BASIX storage does not qualify; additional storage may be eligible.
